Very grateful for the courteous attention which two officers paid to my minor problem on a busy holiday weekend.

Officer Damian Ourso came to my rescue Tuesday 5/19/20. My vehicle stalled at South Acadia and Audubon Ave. Mr. Ourso was off duty in his LPSD truck, and he stopped to see if I needed help. He used his police vehicle to safely block the intersection, then he helped me push my SUV through the intersection and about 400 feet down South Acadia into the Walgreens parking lot. He even went into the store for me to let them know that my vehicle would be there awaiting a tow. Officer Ourso is a great example of helping the public even when not “on the clock.” Thank you.
