This hospital has made sure that My Lady was well taken care of. The nurses and doctors take care of everything in a friendly manor. The staff even went over and beyond to see to my comfort. I could even stay the night in her private room.

My wife recently had weight loss surgery at Southern Surgical Hospital. She was going to have the Gastric Sleeve done. Our visit at Southern Surgical Hospital was great from start to finish. The women working the front desk were very helpful and explained the process very well. Everyone my wife came in contact with made her feel comfortable and at ease, which is very important when you’re having a procedure. While waiting in the family waiting area, I was informed about every 30-45 minutes on how she was doing during the process until the surgery was complete, which I appreciated very much. When the surgery was over Dr. Warden came in and told us that my wife did very well and she was in recovery and we would be able to see her once she was awake. In recovery is where I was really impressed. My wife had several nurses that were very informative and kind. When called they would come promptly and would make us feel at ease as they would educate us though out my wife’s recovery. Nurse Rita, Allison, and Summer where professional, knowledgeable, and kind with every encounter that we had with them. Thank you to all the staff at Southern Surgical Hospital. If no one has told you yet, you guys have an awesome team, and do a phenomenal job.

I had the sleeve done, awoke in a tremendous amount of pain. Shauna, Ms. Carolyn and Summer helped me so much. They were so supportive and responsive. They were the best nurses ever with lots of positivity. I’m so grateful for each of them and it’s amazing how much they care for people they’ve never met. I appreciate them and there’s not enough money in the world to show my esteem gratitude. They made the pain just a little bearable.
