Called for appointment by phone on hold over 30 minute wait given a call back time for 9/16 between 2 and 3 pm. Was told that call would be received from a blocked number. Nobody answers blocked numbers. Why cant you just talk to someone then? Why do they have to call you back? Very flustrating. Unable to çomplete online.Asked for help but they said that they dont do face to face anymore due to pandemic. When asked why. Was told it would take over 5 minutes to complete. So i have to sit by the phone on an assigned date wait for a blocked number to call me between 2 to 3 pm answer a blocked number to apply for medicarewhen all they had to do was complete my application then and would have only taken 10 minutes to complete. Does not maķe any sense at all.

Verrrry unprofessional!!!!
Welcome Back
Very Unprofessional Local Office Staff . I sent them my original birth certificate of me and my son to get his SSN( Card ) last name changed . It was verified by certified mail that they had received by sign signature By Mrs. Dyson . I called muti times to see if they had received it , I was getting the run around until the 3rd week saying they got it and sent it back to me without going through certified mail . So I waited 2 more weeks to see if it came in but I didn't . I called back at their office , Mrs. Joyner said they had misplaced that I had to pay for another one for their mistake of losing my important documents and my son's . I don't recommend this local office to anyone . Very Unprofessional

State ID or Driver's license should suffice along with your S.S.I. number.
You will have to reapply for it if the new tenets didn't forward your mail. Check with the post office to see. As long as you completed a change of address there your mail should have been sent to the new address.
It's Federal so it should be uniform.
No, you can just walk in take a number and wait. It's usually no longer than an hour.
