They always have great service and a wide range of good soul food to choose from. They close early so you have to get it while you can, but if you can, it will most definitely be worth the trip. Reasonable and affordable prices and you definitely get what you paid for.

Came here thanks to a friends recommendation for authentic soul food, and that’s exactly what is was. Real home cooking, good portions and friendly service. If you’re looking for chitterlings or gizzards or hog maw (subbed for each other, so maybe call ahead to see what’s in for the day) definitely make the stop. Beef ribs were great too!

Best food in the city! U gotta be patient in line but GREAT things come to those who wait! Lol only thing is I wish they had more white meat chicken fried & baked.But plus the portions? Whewww ridiculous! 👌🏾😋💓

Been driving by this place for a couple months. It's small and can easily go unnoticed. Well that's a huge mistake. The portions they serve are huge. The lady who waited on us was so nice and the food was great!! Will never just drive by again!!!

I have Uber Eats delivery & use to be able to get delivery in Hermitage. I tried today & it said it was 'too far.' What happened??

I'm not sure what you mean by 'new standards' . Can't get a direct answer from Uber Eats. They said the restaurant changed the delivery area & Doll's said they didn't. I believe Doll's. Uber eats customer service said 'they don't know.'

What's with the high rating? This food isn't fit for a dog. Nothing tasty about this place. People giving good reviews are lacking in taste and quality from soul food.

Fit for a dog? That's harsh, but me and my fiance travel allot and all we do is look for a decent soul food spot, we've been very dissatisfied with allot of places and food in Nashville, but dolls was wayyy better than several spots. My family from Louisiana and cali, and my experience with dolls was GREAT.

The owner doesn't leave feedback from reviews. Why????

The food was good the chitterlings plate was well prepared my daughter had turkey leg it was huge and very well seasoned my son in law had fried cat fish and it was good as well my mom had smothered chops good,only thing not good was the spaghetti

You have to wear a mask to enter and they have social distancing set up 6 feet apart as you stand in line.
