Guide Tim and Northwoods Outfitters gave us a wonderful tour! While originally a paddle tour, the rain and wind made that difficult, so Tim led us on a wonderful van tour instead. We saw three moose (including a mom and baby!), a Canadian lynx, deer, and loons. Throughout the tour, Tim proved to be a wealth of information and anecdotes, keeping use completely entertained for the whole four hours. He made it his personal mission to show us moose. It was a great excursion, despite the weather and the change of plans. We would definitely recommend them, and Tim specifically, for your Maine Moose excursion.

A wonderful experience on land and water. Tim was knowledgeable, personable, and professional. We saw several moose, a nesting loon, and several other animals. Tim always had interesting facts and tidbits to add and did all he could to make our experience enjoyable. Well worth the time and money. We would do it again.

Prebooked a land moose tour through Northwoods for early May, Mr Steve was our guide. Store is very nice clean good variety of outdoor stuff I thought prices were competitive. The land tour was driving back road areas looking for moose. We seen moose, whitetail, and rabbits plus some great views. This is not the best time of year for moose viewing but still fun if your looking for something to do. Will return for kayak moose safari. Mr Steve knew the routes very well he was a good guide.

We went on a private moose tour. Tim is a great guide. He is very knowledgeable about moose and tells great stories. It is obvious that he knows the area and the best spots. Tim guided us to finally see 4 moose. Three cows and a calf. We were fortunate to get into Tim’s 5% club. We were part of the 5% to get close enough to a moose to hear her chewing. Using his superhuman spotting abilities he saw a cow in the brush by the road in near dark conditions. We were so close. Great memories and we hope to experience it again soon. Ask for Tim!
