Love this for my 20 month old. It's a great place for kids, especially on hot days because it's cool inside and usually has a snowball stand outside. There are interesting exhibits for all school age children. Memberships are totally worth it!

This establishment is one of the very few creative, educational & hands-on learning experiences within Baton Rouge that's geared towards children, but adults can have a blast too !

Stopped here on our way to Pensacola for our 2 year old. She had a great time. So much for children to do. A must go for kids of all ages. So much cool stuff and activities. Adults will have fun too.

$14 for all over 1 year old. It is worth it to get a membership. You won't finish everything, and if you do, your kids will want to go back.
You can eat outside in the backyard where there are picnic tables. If the weather is bad you can eat in the lobby but there aren't any tables. There are quite a few restaurants nearby otherwise.
You can visit without children. They will ask the you follow their security protocol in place for your visit. They will have you sign in and out, they will hold you driver's license for the length of your visit and ask you to wear a lanyard.
I not sure! I hope they do.
They haven't if you can't pay the $14 they have a program in place to allow you free admission to the museum.
Both. They also have things you can purchase from out of there.
$14.42 w/tax for everyone 2 years old and up. The only exception is if you have the Louisiana Purchase card (food stamps) and the matching government issued ID general admission is $3.09 w/tax for up to 6 people.
There are vending machines with healthier choices on the back patio. No candy.
The crane, the tools, the bubbles, the challenge stations down stairs appeal to older kids and adults.
Yes absolutely! There are things for all ages and all abilities. There are also elevators if needed for strollers it wheel chairs.
Membership is $150 for 2 named adults and 2 children. There is no membership for a child alone.
Children under 2 are free, adults are 14 a person and they have 5 dollars off for grandparents with aarp. They also have a special price for EBT recipients as well according to their website
Yes but there is a chance you will not get in at the time you show up. Best to reserve tickets ahead of time to ensure you don't have to wait to enter.
$14... ages 2 and up... Groups and tours generally less... It's worth every penny 😉
She might.... My 4 year old gets bored with some parts of it. Their is a STEM area not as much as the museum downtown.

No. Everyone 2 years old and older pay $14 + tax. The only exception is if you have the Louisiana Purchase food stamp card. With the card and matching ID, 6 people can pay $3 + tax each.
I have called numerous times. No one has called me back.
I would recommend a walker with a seat. There are benches but not in the individual rooms.
