My fiancé and I went into this store to purchase more salt water fish for our tank. The very first thing I noticed was the horrid smell. I’ve been in plenty aquatic stores and reptile shops but this smell was scary. We were informed that there were not many salt water dish but we still decided to take a look. We should’ve left our right then and there. Those poor fish are kept in unspeakable conditions. Tanks full of dead headless fish that had obviously been there for who knows how long. My fiancé pointed at the floor and there was a huge dead shriveled up fish right by my foot. We immediately left. This place should not be open.

Nice owners, great customer service

This place is absolutely horrific. These animals are treated so poorly. Nothing has proper spacing, heating, humidity, hardly any of the reptiles had food or water and if they did it was days old. Snakes are in plastic Tupperware containers with no heat or humidity. Massive fish in 5 gallon tanks. And every single reptile has stuck shed. Plus he was antagonizing scared reptiles trying to get them to bite. . This is absolutely criminal. There's absolutely no reason this place should exist. Disgusting.

Baby peacock bass died after a week and they showed no signs of being sick. Hasn’t happened before water parameters were checked every other day to maintain good quality for the baby peacocks as I know they are sensitive when smaller size.

I think it's a cool place! There's a pretty big variety of fish to choose from. As well as other water living creatures. They also had snakes, lizards, geckos, rats of all sizes, hamsters, birds and bunny rabbits for sale. He also sells puppies and a lot of different choices for pets, such as food and all that. He's friendly.
We all wore mask with mutual respect for one another .
I didn't really see any birds
On occasion, however depending on species they may not be under proper lighting. Would recommend looking at 50 fathoms in metairie.
