I’m just sharing my experience with LFCU this bank they put a 45day hold on a check I deposit online that was in my name. When I spoke with a member specialist and she spoke with a manager I still wasn’t able to get a reason why then I had them to released the check back to me so I decided to deposit it in another bank. The deposit only took two days for the money to be released so I made a withdrawal. The next day I check my account I seen a negative for the amount I withdrew I went back and check my lfcu account and seen the deposit was made. So they didn’t actually release the check back to me this put me in bad spotlight with my other bank

Stay Away from this bank. I had an account with them for years before they started making all these changes. This bank has went down hill quick. The customer support is just bad. They told me I didn't have over draft protection which I had for 7 years until today. The lady told me that see didn't see anything in my file for over draft protect but, how it been working for 7 years? You can't get anyone on the phone. Now I'm getting Random NSF fee even when my account is in the positive. If you have an check account with them I would advice you to just close it and move on. I have other banking accounts that NEVER did anything like this. I can even call them in the middle of the night and get someone on the phone. WORST BANK EVER. Call 24 is a joke.

First bank to actually give me a chance with a credit card and personal loan. They are also so helpful when I go and very polite. I recommend them over any bank or credit union. I mainly deal with the Gramercy location and I'm always helped by Ms Liz there she is awesome, but I've dealt with Laplace location for my credit card and personal loan and I believe it was Kathy that helped me with that process and she was a sweetheart and a pleasure to do those transactions with. I've dealt with another person when I needed an auto loan can't remember his name but he was was very know on what I needed to do. Like I said wonderful people there. I go to them before thinking about getting a loan anywhere else. They will be the ones I go to when me and my boyfriend buy our first house together next year.

Pros- good interest rates (but not worth the cons) Cons- Mobile app is very outdated. The steps to access your account are very complicated and outdated. I have never had any collections service to try get so personal and judgmental. Asking questions like “why did you miss your payment?” Very unprofessional and personal, my own mortgage company doesn’t even ask questions like that.
