10 stars if I could give them! My entire family has been attending the MTI productions since 2003. They are as good and at times, even better than the Traveling Broadway productions at the Morrison Center, for a fraction of the cost! It's amazing, the talent we have here in Idaho! This is a Non-Profit community theatre that really knows how to put on a Broadway Musical! The icing on the cake is the fact that every performance is joined by the MTI live orchestra pit! They are amazing musicians who give so much time and talent to making this a top notch place to see a show! I am also amazed at the things they do to support the community. In 2022 they invited 1000 local school children to see the musical, Madilda at no charge. As the classes left the Civic Center, the MTI gave each child a copy of the book, Matilda. The company collected money and donations in order to do this for our local kids. The MTI loves to encourage literacy and exposure to the arts for everyone. In 2018, my son and I auditioned and we have been a part of the company ever since! I love that this is such an inclusive "Family" at the MTI. They welcome people with different levels of talent, ability levels etc. My son and I had almost no experience, but a desire to learn. The MTI took us under their wing and I cannot believe what we have learned in these past few years. We have performed in ensembles, and we've even played leading and supporting roles in multiple shows! This has been a life changing experience for us both. We are better people for being a part of the MTI and we are beyond thankful for the experiences we have had here. My son has developed so many amazing skills from team work, commitment to projects, communication, technical audio and stage work and building, and I haven't even told you about his vocal and acting development! And as for me... I had paralyzing stage fright and had never let anyone hear me sing. I dreamed of being on stage, but being disabled, middle aged and terrified of my own voice, I was certain it would never happen. The MTI literally worked a miracle with me. I cannot believe what I'm doing now. They have supported me and allowed me to shine despite my limitations. I'm thrilled that we took the leap and auditioned! The MTI recently moved to a beautiful, brand new facility in Nampa for rehearsals and are creating the Academy of the Arts there to continue giving the community multiple opportunities to be a part of the Arts. Our community is so lucky to have this amazing theatre! Not only do I reccomend you see a show, I encourage you to take it one step further and come join the MTI family!

Great entertainment at a reasonable price. Our youngest son enjoyed the summer program several years. Highly recommend it. Mostly very family oriented only available rare show is not appropriate for the kids.
