We were in town to go sapphire mining...Found out they were closed but the Sapphire Inn was such a pleasant place that we enjoyed our visit anyway! Extremely clean with comfortable bed and all the latest updates to flooring , furnishings, etc. Great value for the low rate. Homelike, friendly, comfortable in every way. Great wifi reception too and located close to several restaurants.Also enjoyed the rockers on the balcony outside our room. I highly recommend for the good value.

Stopped in to spend the night while hiking the AT. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, heat/ac work as they should, & there's satelite TV & wifi. Best amenity by far was the shower; great water pressure & gets as hot as you could ever want! Frenchie checked me in quick & with courtesy. Overall, the Saphire Inn was a great place for a low rate room & short stay.

It’s not the ritz. Budget price,budget expectations. Talk with the guy, he’s much more business savvy and polite than his wife . They try hard to make the place acceptable, I respect that . Great place for hikers !

Took two zeros here. The heater was excellent, and so was the shower. A drawer was broken by a previous desk, but we were not using it. There was evidence of black mold under the sink, but it did not bother us. Free wifi and tv was great.
