Spent the weekend about 45 minutes away with family and literally randomly chose to end our trip at Cooks before heading in opposite directions across the country, and I Don't think we could have picked a better place for our departure meal. The staff was amazing, even though we showed up 30 minutes early for lunch. They never miss feel like we were imposing or putting them out in any way, when in reality, we know we were. They were all amazing, friendly, and it really helped set the vibe for the last meal we all had before heading out after what was already a great weekend. Absolutely recommend to anybody in the area.

A great place for a quick lunch! I went in with my boyfriend, another couple and their daughter. We had a great experience. The waitress(I wish I had looked at her name) was so nice, the food came out HOT and delicious. The fried mushrooms are a great app, they actually do full size mushrooms, I was surprised to see that. I had the seafood platter(flounder, shrimp and clam strips) with onion rings and fries. The onion rings were just the type I like, fries were hand cut and delicious and the seafood was really good. My boyfriend had a really great cheeseburger(fresh patties) and fries. My friend had chicken fried steak that he said was amazing, he let me taste the gravy on some toast and it was GOOD. Everything was great and it makes me wish I wasn't on vacation so I could go back in again. If we come back for another vacation this place will definitely be on our list of stops.

Prior to planning our trip to blairsville for hiking and camping we researched nearby establishments and this was one of the places we had planned to come because of the reviews for breakfast. Unfortunately, on the day we were there which I believe was a Wednesday morning they didn't serve breakfast anymore. Perhaps because of covid I don't know. The place has a nice mini buffet style section where you can get your choice of a meat and two sides that seemed to be a popular option with the people who were dining there. Probably something we'll do next time we visit. The food we did have was simple but yet prepared very well.
