Friendly and helpful once you have mp through the new hoops of Mal ng an appointment ..The appt hotline did not tell me that the 8:30 am appointment would start after the building opened at 830am so I arrived at 8:15 and had to wait in the cold. Also if in White Plains use the public lot up the next block and put in a couple hours for parking so you do not run out and get a ticket, W.P. tickets are over $30.

Wish I would be able to give it less then one star. When I made my appointment over the phone they reiterated that I make sure to be 15 min early, when I arrived for my 8:30 appointment at 8:15 the building didn’t open until 8:30. The worst part is that the security guard didn’t open the doors until 8:45 complete unprofessionalism the whole time I was there. They really need new staff here!!!

Arrived at the IRS building a little late due to the fact that I run a small business and could not get an employee to cover in time, and the minute I walked through the door security guard Martinez began interrogating me about why I was late. He then proceeded to grab my bag and throw it at me stating I could not get in. Once I ask to see a supervisor he physically threatened me over and over. He even said he would shoot me! He temper was unreal. His co-worker was so shocked at his actions that he had to hold him back and asked me to call the police and not push the issue because clearly his partner was not in his right of mind. I called the police and filed a report. He should never ever treat or threaten a citizen live over being tardy. The IRS should hire more competent security guards with higher emotional IQS.
