I'm sure the doctor is great, BUT there's someone in the customer service department that is the worst and needs anger management. When I called, I told the woman about the patient's symptoms BEFORE asking for the next availability. However, when she came back with a date, she asked for the symptoms again. I told her the symptoms again and what I think the patient is experiencing; then, the woman suddenly tells me that day is unavailable because the patient needs additional testing done. So I asked her what will the doctor do if I proceed with the original date. The woman said the patient can't schedule with the original date because the patient "needs" additional testing (She said she just KNOWS). Okay... so I ask her if the patient can schedule with this date so the patient can just TALK to the doctor first. Then she goes, "NO" (I have never in my life heard about how the patient can't even TALK to the doctor). Then I asked for the next availability with the testing and she comes back with a new date. This didn't work out so I said, Okay I understand. But for reference and my understanding, is the original date with the doctor or someone else (because I thought that the reason why additional testing can't be done is because a nurse will see the patient instead). Then the woman said, and I quote, "No the appointment is with the doctor but if you want to come that day, I'm writing a note that YOU REFUSED THE TESTING." Wow......................................Never in my life heard about a service rep saying the patient can't talk to a doctor and also how she will write a false statement for the doctor before the appointment. This woman needs a reality check that she is NOT the doctor and CANNOT make diagnosis over the phone. It's unfortunate because customer service is the face of the practice and this woman is completely ruining it.

Very experienced hands; very reliable examination. I met dr thrice and I always felt positive after the appointments. I always left the appointment with great satisfaction and peace of mind.

Our son had ear infections after ear infections. I went to Dr. Oppenheim because I needed a quick appointment and he seemed to be the only one with availability, which should have alerted me. He barely looked at my son, recommended tubes. We went for it. Fast forward 6 months later, ear infections have started again. Dr. Oppenheim prescribed ear drops and when asked if there was anything we could do about the constant congestion, declared "he is at daycare, kids get sick". We now went to another ENT and realized Dr. Oppenheim is using the wrong size of tubes for him and needed further testing because his balance while walking was terrible. He now needs another surgery for new tubes because the left one is completely stuck. So big thumbs down for this experience. Parents with young children, stay away from this.

I’ve been under Dr. Oppenheim’s care for approximately 4 years now. His diagnosis was accurate, my surgeries went flawlessly, and his routine checkups always informative and reassuring. At one point Dr. Oppenheim referred me to another expert who also performed 2 successful surgeries and confirmed Dr. Oppenheim’s assessments and recommendations. I decided to stick with Dr. Oppenheim and am glad and confident I’m in good hands.
