Can't put into words how wonderful Lucas and the staff at IronHouse are! The work that they do is top notch and they are even better people! If you have any welding or blacksmithing needs this should be your first and only stop!

Questions & Answers

I believe I would like to learn how to make knives. That said, how much basic education does one need, cost of education, time of education and cost of equipment to get started at home? I live in the Southport, NC so travel will be required.

We are offering a variety of metal working classes including knife making, through ShopSpace.org An introductory and safety class is required before taking a knife class but that's it! The cost of classes at ShopSpace range from $70 to $200. Open studio time ranges from $15 to $22 an hour. Time a cost of getting started at home really depends on how much you want to dive in.
