We loved it here. The beaver lodge was perfect. More private than the other cabins and the fishing was awesome. Wish the air conditioner was working though. It was triple digit heat.

Pretty view of the river. Campground looks like a farm storage area overall with the basketball court covered by a dog kennel, and junk lying about everywhere. Swim area is pretty mucky and shallow. Swim dock is barely in the water. There was a wasp nest in the electric hookup for our site and no one around to tell. In fact, we never saw anyone affiliated with the campground that we could tell. Cabins seemed super cute from what we could see. It has a lot of potential but needs some TLC. Bathrooms were clean and free showers that were too.

What a beautiful site! We stayed in one of their cabins. It was clean, had air conditioning and a cozy loft to sleep in. The river views are gorgeous. I highly recommend visiting.

We just went this weekend and had such a beautiful and relaxing time with our kids. We will absolutely be back! This is not fancy shmancy RV park. The bathrooms are a bit rough--soap was gone for literally 3 days, the RV plots are not paved.. But we went there expecting that much. The scenery is gorgeous. All of the campers around us were so beyond friendly and we had a great time getting to know them. There really isn't a bad spot in the park, each one has a different view or high point to it. We never actually met a camp host, we saw them ride around on a cart a couple of times and if I am being honest, completely non-friendly looks on their faces. definitely not personable folks. They also had a little girl who was sweet BUT she would come into everyones camp spots and get into their things and sort of linger around between camps. For awhile nobody knew who she belonged to. She also took one of my kid's little toys and wouldn't give it back when they asked, but I decided not to make a stink of it because she was little and from the looks, could have really just needed a toy and probably enjoys it more than they did. Over all she was sweet but it was a very uncomfortable situation for our family, and the others near us. I don't think that reflects directly on the park itself just the hosts on duty at that time. Overall a fun place and its definitely worth a visit to see if you like it. Theres nothing to not like if you don't have to use their public bathroom. :)
