My husband and I came during the Aquarium’s 30 year anniversary celebration, so we expected for it to be busy. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by some very friendly hostesses and then after waiting a bit, we were seated in Ashley L’s section. She was one of the best servers we’ve ever had! Extremely friendly and made great recommendations for drinks and food. She checked in on us regularly and made sure we were completely satisfied with our drinks and food. The food tasted great, but was a bit of a wait once we ordered it, which we expected after coming in during such a busy night downtown. Ashley apologized for the wait and even the cook, Anthony, came out to apologize personally and see if there was anything he could do to make things right. Although we expected to wait a bit, we we’re blown away with how professional the cook and our server Ashley were, and how hard they worked to make sure we had an amazing first experience at Big River Grille. On top of the amazing customer service, we were impressed with the ambiance, cleanliness of the restaurant, and the live music was a bonus. We were so impressed and have every intention of returning, as well as recommending it to family and friends.

My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves here. Beautiful atmosphere with exposed brick and beams. Open bar with kegs stacked upon themselves. Well lit. Open walking areas in between tables. Great beer. Food was ok on my end. I had the fish and chips and my fish was pretty burnt and tough. My wife, however, loved her food (shrimp and grits). My 2 year old had a cheese burger which was tasty as well. Wish it was a bit cheaper but overall it was a nice experience. You really can't get a better location than this. I would eat here again.

Ordered Delivery. My Margherita Flat Bread was burnt and tasteless. TWO of my kids meals were wrong. One missing the side AND undercooked chicken, the other was sent with the wrong side. (Do you know how picky kids are?! They won't eat it if it's not what they ordered) The Fried Pickles were packaged without a paper lining and arrived soggy. And the children's Mac and Cheese was ice cold, and not even mixed up. No cutlery was sent, no condiments either. Very unhappy.

First of all let me say this / these are difficult times for the restaurant businesses and we all need to understand that due to staffing shortages , wait times are longer than usual just about everywhere . That being said I wish to thank Kristen S the manager for doing her best to get us seated . I wish to thank Server Kelton for providing exceptional service while maintaining her smile. Thanks to the kitchen staff for making an outstanding lunch!

There's parking on the street & several lots & a parking garage nearby. You have to pay to park

🤔my best advice would be to pick up the order and not call in again. Went there recently and it'll be a long time before I go back, if at all. Horrible service and never got the appetizer we ordered, or the second round of drinks. I think 4.1 is employees voting, customers wouldn't rate it that high
