We got a gift card, but had to travel about 25-30 mins to another town to use it, we don't have a Papa John's. On top of that the pizza price for a 1 topping and 1 combo (2 pizzas) was to expensive for what we got. The combination pizza had sparse toppings. I realize it was a free meal, but we paid on gas. $50 gift card has only $6.00 left on it.

this place used to have good pizza. Do not expect good pizza from here now. Is Shaq still on the board here? cause he needs to take this persons franchise away from them. i don't cook often, but even i know you have to fully pre-heat the oven BEFORE you put the pizza in. after i took a few bites of the pizza i ordered, i was not happy. i called them up to tell them that i wanted a refund because the pizza i had ordered was not fully cooked. the manager offered me 1/2 off the price of my next pizza order; (it is very unlikely that i would ever order from here again). the bottom of the pizza was doughy, the toppings were not cooked, and their red sauce was very bland. the melted cheese was the thing that was hot on the pizza. i told him i wanted my money back. he asked if all of the pizza was there. (duh i already ate almost a slice when i found out that it wasn't cooked). i told him i would bring it back, then hung up. less than a minute later he called me back and asked if he could just remake the pizza. frustrated already, i just said "fine." i guess he didn't want to give me back my money when i brought the pizza in, the cook handled it and looked at the pizza and told me that the oven was just turned on and probably was not fully preheated. as he handed me the replacement pizza. if you knew that the oven was not fully preheated , then why would you put a pizza in? Google maps says that i live 6 minutes away from the store. how can a pizza be fully cooked in less time than it took me to get into my car and drive down there? from what i do know, pizzas usually take 10-20 minutes to cook in their ovens. as i walked in, he handed me a replacement. let me tell you, the replacement pizza was almost as bad as the first. again raw doughy taste, uncooked toppings, only difference was a dark brown, almost burnt crust. needless to say i didn't call them again and complain about the second pizza. my stomach was churning after eating the raw pizza dough and i had lost my appetite for pizza. poor customer service, un-editable food, and incompetent employees. i did not think it was legal to sell garbage passing it off as edible food to people, and then be unwilling to give them their money back. chose ANY other pizza place than this. it's no wonder why they were hiring, they probably need someone who knows how to cook a pizza

Fast friendly delivery of my cheeseburger pizza and brownie to the truck while I wait to load at Pflug Packaging in Lathrop. I would definitely tell any trucker over here to not even hesitate to order delivery to the truck and if I pick up here I will be happy to order from this Papa John's location again. Thanks for the great experience, Manteca PJ!
