I recently attended a service at Unity and understand that we are perfect emotionally, physically and spiritually for after all we are made in God's image. But than much to my surprise the LUT said "We are all flawed". Another name for sinner?

"Made in God's image". Then we allow our mind to take control. It is the essence of Free Will, you can ignore what instinct screams at you is real and what truth to believe. We cannot fathom the mind of God, and in our fear we search for meaning, and in our hubris we actually believe we can know the unknowable. Your question begs the question, "What is man?". Unity can only help with seeking some direction. In truth, you have to find your own.
