Good office, the people were nice. If you cannot get your question answered or no one answers the phone line, then make an appointment to this office on NJ Unemployment official website. Also it should be noted that the new ID.me system may be faulty and confirmed you were verified but not the case sometimes and blocks you anyway and benefits therefore may not be payable. Best to go to this office in person with appointment and they will check what is going on.

Quick and easy but it still takes weeks to get your unemployment. But if they rule in your favor then you can claim all the back weeks

I filed for unemployment benefits on 5/19/2022. I was scheduled for a claims examiner call in 6/28. I never received the call. I reached out to the unemployment office for days from8:30 am to 4:30 pm and it was constantly stating that due to high call volume I had to call the following day. Finally 2 weeks later I get through to someone. She states that she would get her supervisor to call me because even though I was scheduled for a call it was an error. While I’m on the phone with her she hears my doctor talk to me about a procedure had had gotten and telling me that if there wasn’t a change he would admit me. I apologize to her because he didn’t realize I was on a call. She proceeded to tell me how she worked in the medical field and that sounded so serious and I proceeded to tell her I’m fine. She tells me no you’re not and wrote it down on my file. I was home the same day. I told her this shouldn’t be because again I fine. We’ll long story short her supervisor never called me back then again I’m calling and no answer finally 2 weeks later I get someone who actually has the examiner call me. Immediately after they release payment. I try to claim the following week and I can’t. I finally get someone on the phone again a week later and they told me that my file shows I am disabled so I cannot claim. I told them that’s impossible that I was home I even have record of that and that the first person was listening to a conversation she should not have. I had also been applying for work and been on interviews. Well I also wait for the money deposited and never was. I provided my bank information and they ignored that and issued me out their card which they also mailed to an address that was not in my claim. It’s an address from 8 years ago that I never even confirmed with them. Now I have to wait another month just to access funds and unemployment decided that even though I provided all the correct information I now have to wait and see if another claim examiner will call me on 8/23. I have never ever experienced something so unorganized and how their own people decided that putting information that wasn’t accurate due to their own personal opinion on my file and closing my account was the right thing to do.

do you help with filing for disability at this office
I am having the same problem. What is the address to go to get this fixed?
No. Not yet. Soon.
Absolutely not. The office is closed and all staff are working from home. Their call centers are never operational, they do not respond to emails, and their forms are unsubmitable due to the fact "too many users have filled out this form" I have personally contacted every unemployment office in the entire state as well as offices labeled "unemployment and disability", the mayor's office, the municipal buildings, the governors office and even 2 of the senators offices over the course of the last few months. I have still yet to hear back from any of them.
Your physician must review the state og your health, if he sees that you need more time to heal or not he will prolong your time in conjunction With the state.
Is this for disability or unemployment? Idk about disability but for unemployment you need to go on the website go into your account and make an appointment for your nearest unemployment office to speak with someone for any reason. They won't take you at all without one
The very best you can do is start calling at 8:25 am and press the Disability choice not unemployment! For sure you can leave your number and name and it may take two hours but they will call you back!!
Have to make a appointmemt or apply online
No unemployment offices are open to the public
You file your claim in NJ because you worked in NJ. You can file your claim online at myunemployment.gov
No. I tried going a few weeks ago. The security guard inside was nice enough to come outside and tell me that all employees are working from home.
Went there two weeks ago.securities are there so if you have questions to ask you can pull up and ask.if i were you that's what i would do.
I don't think that the office is open yet. I did drive there about a month ago, and it was closed. I know this won't make you feel better, but I am in the same boat as you. A very desperate situation.
You have to apply in person
You ought to take a trip over there speak with an agent and have your claimed certified and approve in order for to get back your hard earned money and good luck to you...
There is no other number. Your best bet is to try to physically go to the office in Trenton and see what can be done.
1099 you can get online . When you log in you will see different options like file a claim and also get the 1099
Yes if you have been working in New Jersey for 18 months straight and for minimum of 8,900 dollars. You must not be self employed nor part owner of the company you have worked for.
I don't understand your question.
Go to the office. Most people claim benefits online so its never crowded in there.
