A gorgeous, historic building with helpful staff. A nice, quiet place to spend an afternoon. (I'd love for them to expand their audiobook catalogue on Libby.)

As of right now we are not able to accept donations. We are out of room in the storage container. A plan for additional space is underway, so check back with us in a few weeks and we may be able to accept them at that time. Thanks!
Currently, you cannot print directly from your phone or other personal device. You can, however, log into your email on one of our public computers and print from there.
The North Carolina Room is currently available by appointment anytime the library is open. Due to number restrictions on the building occupancy, we are requiring appointments to be made. Please give us a call at 828-764-9261 to schedule an appointment to use the room. Thanks!
Barbara, the library is currently open for curbside pick up and inside by appointment M-F. Please give us a call at 828-764-9261 to set an appointment time, or visit bcpls org for more details.

Michael, Please give the library a call at 828-764-9261 and ask to speak with the Library Director. He will be glad to discuss this issue with you. Thanks!
Visit http://bcpls.org/catalog.php and follow the link and directions to use your library card number and PIN to log into your account. As long as the book is not overdue or has a hold on it from another patron, you should be able to renew one time per item!
Free if you are a Burke County resident & show proof. I think it's $5 if you just need a replacement card, but your card has to be free of fees or at least under $5 on it.
