While on vacation and looking for little places to go and things to do, this road side park was recommended to me by the clerk at the Gem mine I was visiting. It's a Nice park right off the main road.

It don't close but not a safe place to be after dark ..there are not light to see where you are going

I had a beautiful experience there after dark, the sounds are wonderful, I always carry a flashlight and it comes in handy from time to time. I'm sorry you couldn't see well.

The park is open sunrise to sunset.

Is there a parking area or a sign showing where to turn off the highway? I drove to the area, past and did not see anything looking like parking for a waterfall.

It is kinda hidden. It's a small gravel lot tucked back from the road
