There is a dog friendly beach area. Near fisherman's cove but the main beach does not allow dogs except for service dogs.

I disagree, shells are not plentiful. After living on the west coast of Florida near St Petersburg Beach where there were many types of shells, Manasquan is not known for shells. Try Mantoloking beach

There is no showers or changing rooms that I'm aware of and I've been a resident for pretty much all my life here in the Point Pleasant Brielle Manasquan area there's a parking lot for Day Parking which can cost on the weekends anywhere from 10:15 or $20 street-side curbside parking is allowed and you can park there all day and walk to the dog beach there but it's usually impossible to get a parking spot after 10:30 a.m.
