Did not help me at all but rather made things worse in more ways than one. He has spoken to other patients about me revealing untrue, exaggerated, and horrid accusations that has caused many problems at home. He prescribed me a medication, knowing my medical history (uncontrollable hypertension leading to a ruptured aneurysm and just recently diagnosed with a second one) amphetamines are #3 on the what causes aneurysms to rupture list! He dumped all of his patients by faking retirement but in reality he is still practicing in brick but with 5 other physicians. 2 psychiatrists and he is one of the 2. 74 brick Blvd is the address of the practice. Not like I would ever go back to a psychiatrist that made death threats towards my wife. This man can ruin your life.

It's been almost a year since I started seeing Dr. Ferstandig. He is the first and only doctor who told me the goal is to get off buprenorphine maintenance. I was told by another doctor "you need to be on this forever or you will die." In the past year my depression, adult adhd, panic disorder, and insomnia are under control. AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 10 YEARS I'm back in school and excelling. Thank you Dr. Ferstandig.

He spends a lot of time with you but that's because he is talking mostly about himself. As a result you have to sit in the waiting room and wait for hours after your appointment time to see him and yes he does give mostly all of his clients pills that are addictive and will cut you off for no reason he is very narcissistic and always has to be right and is extremely paranoid which tells me he has something to hide. Not professional at all and he is all about making money not helping people he could care less what happens to his patients when all is said and done
I cant thank Dr Russ enough for getting me back to the real me. I had a bad problem and he basicly saved my life. I would recomend him to anyone who has a problem with any drug out there. Hes kind, he listens, and he will talk to you for as long as you need to,whether it be an hour or how ever how long. He is the best out there. He doesnt take insurance, but its worth going to him. God God Bless that man.😇He's my Angel
