Please no one take your animals to this facility! We have been seeing the vet here since 2013 when she was in a one room office in downtown Mocksville. We have taken 8 dogs and 3 cats there for 9 years! And sent them countless business. One of my dogs had to have emergency surgery about 4 weeks ago. I spoke with the vet personally and was told surgery would be between 2,500-5,000 dollars. We proceeded with surgery. At the end, it was $5200. So we paid $3500 and asked to put the remaining $1700 on payment until the end of the year! We were given a hard time about how they felt backed into a corner when we discussed pricing. Now mind you the surgery was more extensive than what was originally described and they did not call us and ask did we agree to the extra incisions and measures that drove the price up. So basically proceeded without permission and then told us they felt backed into a corner about the payment option. We should have provided a cap of $ we were willing to spend. So I suppose if half the surgery was done, and that amount was met, they would have left her open to die on the table. So $500 per month was the agreement! Today, I missed a phone call from the vet while seeing patients- and no voicemail. Nothing. Then I receive a receipt via email thanking me for my $500 AUTOMATIC DRAFTED payment. Which I did not agree to. When discussing with the office manager, she said we auto draft the payment with your card on file! I never gave permission to put my card on file! And was told they only call once and then run the card, I missed a call 41 minutes before the payment was processed! And in the midst of all of this, one of our other dogs had a UTI- and had to be seen. They didn’t want to see her because we had something on payments! 9 years, and 11 animals and tons of money spent- and seriously!? So my dog is healthy and happy. And they may be great for routine exams and vaccines, but no matter how loyal you are as a customer, they will not be loyal to you in the long run! So BEWARE!

We had our first visit to this establishment today and I am very, very impressed. I am a young pet owner (a dog and a cat) and I got both of them in 2020. With that being said, I was never allowed to go with my pets into the vet at all. I felt as though my concerns were never heard at the other vets but today, all of my concerns were heard, talked about and I was made to feel like I wasn’t crazy for having these concerns. For example, my dog has real bad anxiety and her last vet refused to listen to me about it, today Dr. Holcomb listened to and heard my concerns over it and came up with a solution both my fiancé and I were comfortable with. I am so grateful for the entire staff with their help after dealing with vets that discouraged me from even taking my fur babies to the vet. Thank you to all the staff and especially Dr. Holcomb for putting my mind at ease and making sure we know our animals are safe at the vet!

I have 2 dogs that are patients at the Country Vet. I could not be happier with the service I receive! I’m about to add a 3rd dog and I’m confident she will receive same stellar care as my other 2 babies!

Dr. Holcomb was the best and saved my Lil Maltese as I left my baby with a friend while I was away and sent funding for vet[ which no appt was made..]as we all are in the military and got bk to cyst like golfball size on my babies breast. She was very fatigue. Anyone with maltese knows these are hyper active dogs. Ive had her 12 years. We assumed these cyst was cancerous and I got an appt right away. Her white cell count was high. By the time taking her to her first appt the cyst started leaking out and popped open. The doctor called daily. Checking on her. They end up doing emergency surgery the same week. They been keeping an eye out on her blood work and it has came down. And doing another today 7/13. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my baby but these vets and the technicians. I love how the pet portal is at scheduling. They are very caring and they even gave my dog a cute little blanket it was so sweet. My angel has had more energy and more alert. They take care credit and also have scratch pay. My dog has her second surgery soon but want to make sure her blood count is dropping and looks better weekly. Thank god for them. They are very affordable. I wouldn't take my baby anywhere else. I want to thank both ther vet tech and the veternarians for all they do. They got my baby bk to feeling better and called daily. I couldn't ask for a better caring loving vet that the country veternarian. My baby goes no where else!! They are the best of the best in my book
