Did comedy at an amazing open mic. If I was ever in Charolette I'd come to this spot!

I really loved performing at this cool little venue in Charlotte! Joe (owner & FOH) was great to work with and very accommodating! A big shout out to him & his staff!!

I have not attended a single show here. I am writing this review because of the crazy people who give this establishment 1 star for reasons the establishment cannot control re: PARKING, SEATING, and my favoring not liking the bands that were playing that night. Here is my personal opinion to those who give their trashy 1 star opinions, keep your ignorant, stupid, ridiculous, outlandish, unwarranted, illegitimate opinions to yourself. To say I am giving this establishment 1 star because I cannot land my space ship on the roof and then NOT playing the “outer stellar” hyper traveling, teleporting, super sonic band “Beastie Boys”on Tuesdays nights is crazy. My second favorite 1 star review, “not having any seats available”. My advice for next time, bring a chair from home knucklehead. If you have a legitimate reason to complain then give a 1 star or whatever but do not voice your opinion about the above mentioned. Who am I to give my opinion after saying keep your 1 star opinions to yourself? All is fair in love and war…. Can we EVER be decent human beings to each other? We are animals, some more than others.

The station is well within walking distance of the Muse. It is about a block.
Yes. They host a variety events here where you can also sell merch. It's a small concert space I encourage you to contact for booking.
Unfortunately we are still closed due to state guidelines. Once we open back up Monday "Find Your Muse" Open Mics will be back!
Yes
Yes they do, their schedule is on their Facebook page
We do once a month - The All Organic Comedy Open Mic - The next one is Oct. 22nd. You can always find the dates on our website - https://www.eveningmuse.com/calendar/.
There is not.
CD is fine... looking forward to having ya!
Each show depends upon the performer. We do have seating for special needs at all times. Some of our shows will have the chairs down, and some of the shows are standing only, and some have a combination. This is determined by the performers prior to the show, sometimes not until their arrival. Some prefer the quiet intimacy of a seated audience (usually singer songwriters and quieter bands) and some want the audience up close, participating, and occasionally dancing. All scenarios can be an extremely enjoyable and make for an entertaining, emotional, and sometimes magical, experience. We encourage you to take advantage of all show types. GENERAL ADMISSION SEATING IS ON A FIRST COME-FIRST SERVED BASIS. There are times when the room is very full, and unfortunately we cannot guarantee a seat per ticket purchase. https://www.eveningmuse.com/about/
Typically it is up to the artist to let the fans know but we allow it without any flash.
Regularly booked performances are paid via agreement however open mic performers pay the regular admission.
Assuming your are asking about the Monday Open Mic at the Muse... if so, 2 songs or ten minutes... covers are ok but only ONE. You can still do two songs if only one is a cover, just not two covers.
The Evening Muse is all ages. Open mic starts at 8pm with doors at 7pm and sign-ups to perform drawn at 7:45pm. It’s a lot of fun!
There is always parking at the paid deck behind the neighborhood theater (just past the Muse on the opposite side of the street). If you want free parking you'll have lots of competition, at least on the weekends, but you may find a spot on a side street or in a lot a couple blocks away (like the YMCA). Pay attention to any signs, as some places will tow you if you aren't a customer.
The stage is around 20 x 8 ft
Parking is tricky in the NoDa area but there is a wheelchair accessible parking deck that always has spots about 50 yards away and there may be spots closer depending on availability.
Every Monday. $3
You can get a membership at the door. I want to say its a dollar. Good for a year
Open Mic on Monday starts at 8 pm and usually goes till 11 pm. Signups start at 7:30. High school kids and long distance artist go first. 10 minutes per performer. No warm-up time.
