Poor customer, your appointments are double booked, staff doesn't have people skills and you are addressed very rudely. Not all staff there, just the one person whom I tried to check in with today about 4 pm. No one was at the customer service desk, therefore when she returned, I asked if I need to check in very nicely. She replied there are several people ahead of you. I was only trying to let her know that I have arrived for my appointment. I was on time. A few minutes later she asked me If I was Karen. I was told that I had to wait a least 30 minutes. I would have waited because there is a wait process everywhere you go . I have the patience of Job and it's not my fault the appointments were doubled booked. Her approach was all wrong and very rude. Please do not take your frustrations out on the customer because you can't handle the stress of the job.

Great staff. Super helpful. Got my glasses fixed with a little work but they were happy to do it. And at no charge!!

First of all, I had to change doctors because of a change in insurance. My experience was as follows: 1. I make appointment and arrive. No issues with that. The person that checked me in was pleasant and did all the normal tests that a normal optical place would have someone else do! Not someone who checks you in at the desk. She leaves the front desk with no one. 2. We sit down in the room after all the tests and she says the doctor will be with us in a minute and looked at the large tv screen hanging on the wall. At that time, I realize I am not seeing a optometrist in person. The doctor performed the whole visit virtual. 3. I was never told this, not even asked was that okay???! 4. After the odd exam and not even being asked (like my previous optometry appts) we need to dilate your eyes. It wasn’t even mentioned. I am 51 you would think it might be a good idea since I haven’t had an eye exam in over two years. I understand Covid but I think a doctors office should tell you if you are not actually seeing a doctor in person. 5. This is the worst part of it all. I was handed off to the optical technician to pick out glasses. Oooohhh this was fun NOT! He was so disinterested in me. He said go pick out some glasses. Okkkkk so I wonder off alone returning to ask this “Does it matter what type of frames with my prescription”? He said NOPE get any you like. Never asking once to even help or say can I help you find some and give an opinion (once again, like my last optometrist office) I find a pair feeling very unsatisfied. He said put them on he puts a mark where my pupil was I assume - didn’t even do the other eye. I told him I wanted transitions and he added glare etc. left not impressed AT ALL. 6. PiCKING UP MY GLASSES - I called them and they (of course said) they just came in today. I headed there and as soon as I walked in the door the REAL HELPFUL technician was ready to get the glasses. He grabs them hands them over to me. I put them on and have to walk to a mirror to look. He never once felt behind my ears to see how they were fitting. He said I think they need tightening. Didn’t even touch them on my head. He grabbed them and went back to the station. He bent them and handed them back to me. I put them on and they did not fall down on my nose. He said that looks good. Never ONCE touching the glasses or seeing how they felt on my ears etc. (Again, like ALL of my eye appts in the past) I have been wearing glasses many years and have had many appts. 7. I said okay thanks and left. All while he was telling some irrelevant story to another employee. The glasses do not fit well but I will be going somewhere else for them to be adjusted. I need someone that actually cares enough to see if they fit properly and actually pay attention to me THE PAYING CUSTOMER. Over all, I would not recommend Visionworks to anyone, nor will I be back. At least not to this location.
