These people do not help youThey came out on the weekend and took us to the grocery store then turned around on Monday and fussed about it had enough when i got my check i bought a 5.00 burger at burger king they fuss about that to the because my husband was taking medicine for his liver they told me to leave him and they would help me. Alonely loria follow him every where he went. Plus they toke me to mcdonald i told her she didnt have to go if she didnt want to then she said she getting a milk shake.

So many of us donate to Goodwill but let's not forget about our Women Shelters. Donate from your heart not expecting anything in return. I did and so can you. The Staff was so nice a friendly.

They have a church that takes ppl at night but the churches aren't open, they have a salvation army and a pilgrims inn, you'll just have to call and see what they can help with.

To the men shelter
Don't know the answer to your question but i do know about Family Promises thay can help you with shelter and get you on your feet.
Family Promise is wonderful, but there may be a waiting list. They also only take families, so it would depend on your situation. You can also try Pilgrim's Inn, which isn't far from Family Promise. There is also one in York called Tender Heart's.
