A lot of logging and some Trail closures. Will not be returning.

Really beautiful trail with some shorr parts being rugged and difficult to navigate with a lot of brush on both sides some of which may be poison ivy mostly blackberry and muscadine vines. It is very peaceful with beautiful views of the lake. Also make sure to use some deet in the warmer months because there are definitely lots of mosquitoes and other bugs lurking out there. You will definitely want to keep your eyes on the trail in order to avoid stepping in horse poop.

Great place for mountain biking

This is a great place to trial ride. There is ample trailer parking, and a porta potty. The trials are marked, but take a map because it is easy to get lost.

Unfortunately no. Some parts of the trail narrow to less than 2 feet with lots of brush on both sides and some parts of the trail are actually water tributaries when it rains. Also horse poop along the trail. Still it is a beautiful peaceful hike.
