Great campground! We were at site 25 and we loved it. Very level and plenty of room. This was our second trip but Lord willing, not our last.

Dec. 2021, Loop 4, site 126. One of our favorite campgrounds. Very well maintained, very helpful, friendly staff. Easy walk to the beach and pier. A couple of nature trails in the area. Clean and comfortable bathhouse. There's also a laundry and general store in the park, very nice. There is a wide variety of campsites, and to be honest the map doesn't really show the size and proximity of the individual sites. 126 is a pull through, but the actual site was pretty small and not much separation from the next site. That being said, it was really not a problem, and there are a ton of sites that are very private. Loop 6 has full hookups. Loop 5 seemed to have the most separation between camp sites. Overall, a super enjoyable stay!

Great park & campground. Peaceful campsites, private beach area for the campers and day use park goers, so not as crowded as other areas of Myrtle Beach. This is a regular stop for us. At least twice a year.

They do have full hookups. But you have to call for availability. I have a spot with electric and water. I just have to go to the dump station when my tanks get full.
State park hotels are very high.
Usually around 340-450 for a week for camping(with power hookup)
Yes you can, but I believe you still have to get water/electric site
They have water, sewer & electricity. 50 & 30 AMP. Prices range from $65 to $70/nite. If u are a SC resident & a senior citizen you get a 35% discount.
Most spots have plenty of trees for hammocks.. This is a great campground..You'll love it..
No, but it is a very nice camp ground. The bath and showers are air conditioned.
Yes you can no special adapter
Yes, you can get bait at the pier store.
Overflow has shared electric and water no sewer its for tent camping only
I believe there is if you are from South Carolina, and I just did the snowbird thing but it's almost over where you get 50% on 30 days
Yes
Yes pets. Avg cost is $35/45
Rates are based on the site and amenities. State residents get a discount, disabled state residents get a 35% discount. The SC State Park website can give you rates and site amenities. Myrtle Beach State Park has a site that lists the sites by price, availability, and amenities
Not sure about cabins because we camp, but they do have air.
You can find prices on their website. And you can make reservations too.
I believe there is 6 and there all expensive as heck and booked for a few years out
You would have to call the state park campground to get that information ok. It's very nice cozy for a get away in the camp ground sites.
In Myrtle Beach, starting May 1st, dog are not allowed on the beach between the hours ofi 10 am to 5 pm. In Surfside Beach, dogs are not allowed any hours until after labor day.
We had a back in site. I'm not sure if they have pull throughs but it is a huge campground. If you go to reservations online, you can look at a map of the campground and it would show if they have a pull through. Otherwise, you could call the park and ask. We really enjoyed our stay there..hope you do!
Here is the link to make reservations. You probably have to look for a date months in advance but you may get lucky https://reserve.southcarolinaparks.com/myrtle-beach
Through the end of February - 6 am to 8 pm.
They do not. Their rates are posted on their website. Like many states parks, there is a 14 night maximum stay length.
Are campfires allowed? Do we need to bring our fire Pitt and wood?
