World of Beer

This world of beer was a lot smaller than any of them I've been to before, more of a local pub than an actual restaurant. It was also very hot and humid inside. We were hoping to escape the heat and cool down with some awesome beer while we ate our dinner, but it was a little too hot for comfort. That said, the beer was great, the food was excellent, and the service was spot on; definitely at a level you would expect from World of Beer.

Made a lunch stop here during a short stay in Savannah. Good selection of local and regional craft beer as well as a full bar for cocktails. They also feature, as their name states, multiple coolers, filled with beer from all over the globe. A good choice to try a flight of local beer or a bottle of your favorite international brew. Service was good during our visit, and we got right in for a table.

Good service and ambiance. Music and entertainment isn’t too loud to talk inside. So many options of beer as well.

Was in Savannah for Aug 20 - 25. Went to a lot of places because it was a 30th birthday trip with 8 - 10 people. Went to this place in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. Only 2 couples were at the bar. No one else in the establishment. 3 people behind the bar. Only me and another person came in & also say at the bar. The 3 employees talking together but not serving anyone. One of the couples that were there before us got up & left because they said they were never acknowledged. We then waited for another 7 minutes until I had to say "excuse me? Are you open? " The bartender comes down saying that she was making a drink. But that wasn't true. Because the other couple that left says she just keeps standing & talking and haven't even let us order anything. So I say to the bartender that the couple beside us just left because you didn't acknowledge them either. I just want to be sure you seen us come in. (Only 4 people in the entire place at this time) I've been in food service for over 10 years & even if you're busy all you have to say is "Hi welcome I'll be with you soon". We originally came in early to wait for the rest of our group (8 more people). I instantly told them not to come & I'd find another place with better customer service. I didn't want to beg an establishment to serve me. I could understand if it was crowded or if they were short staffed. But it was only 4 customers & 3 employees and that's the customer service?? We were happy to spend our money elsewhere.
