LARPing on the Spine made for a great show. NNPTC turns out the world's best nuclear operators and the world's best trolls. There was a guy who ate pencil eraser shavings. He couldn't understand why the other students saved their pencil eraser shavings and put them on his desk. If you're reading this and still wondering, it's because they wanted to watch you eat them. You're welcome 😉 Also, it's not unheard of for students to fall asleep while standing up. You'll know that it's happened when you hear the crash of a sleepy nuke student falling into the Ordered Stand Podium. I have more stories, but they aren't family-friendly. Just know that this place attracts a lot of interesting people.

I ordered the 25-4 option and immediately regretted it, one of the worst options i could've ordered. Definitely would not return. Staff was helpful though.

It's a great place to meet people. The academic atmosphere and amicable educators really allow your abilities to shine while always maintaining verbatim compliance. I, as a graduate in 2000, would recommend.

Guns can be brought on base simply to be transported to and from the armory. Otherwise no. When driving you will be able to see what the limits are, as they have signs designating that guns arent allowed past it. Housing, NNPTC, NPTU, DTP, etc all have these restrictions. . Naval weapons station is an open base. You needn't go through a gate to get to the RV park
Unless its A-school, which is every Friday at 7ish
You either need proof of vaccination or a covid test that is negative
Honestly. Ship store(in the rickover) is where it's at for that kinda stuff. They sell like t-shirts and stuff like that in there
Not NNPTC itself. Joint Base Charleston I believe is largely open.
I believe it is ten days leave authorized after graduation, meaning he can go wherever
If you're traveling more than a few hours I would just wait. He'll get leave immediately after graduation and be headed home.
No, the closest are in north Charleston, about 15 minutes away
Typically they get 10 to 14 or so days of leave after graduating power school. There's also 3 "free" days before graduation to sign your lease upon passing comp.
Good Evening, Please contact the quarterdeck at 843-794-8004 and they might be able to help answer your question.
Actually I just found out that since Indiana is his home of record. They WILL do it. Just have to go to "grad hold" or "personal property" office and tell them what the situation is and fill out some paperwork!
There is on base housing but would be better off living off base as they will usualy take all of your BAH if you're a student.
It's where potential nuclear operators are trained. It's after A school and before Prototype
