Looks like a nice place to camp. We didn't camp here this time but did get our wood, ice and took showers here. The staff was super friendly and their prices matched the other places nearby. We will definitely look at this place next time we are in the area. Their showers were some of the best I have been to. Super clean and $8 with no time limit. The area is beautiful and if you are looking around this area to camp I say give them a second look.

This place is awesome. No cell phone service no email no text messages just relaxation and nature. There is a payphone if you really need to contact the outside world. There is also a restaurant that serves a wonderful breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11. Food was always as ordered and quick and at a fair price. The restaurant bakes fresh bread. It was amazing.

Visited in July 2017 with family and loved the large modern cabin. Splitting the cabin with another family made it so reasonable and comfortable and convenient to experience Rock Creek, Mammoth, and the Eastern Sierra. Would return to the cabin and Rock Creek to experience even more of the campground and scenic hiking trails that are within walking distance of the campground.

Great little spot that's very secluded, but a good ways off the 395. Not right next to the lake, but the creek runs through the property and there's an awesome walk/hike to be had to a nearby pond that's stunning with friendly horses to greet you along the way. Modern cabins are great. Haven't tried the rustic ones in over 25 years, but back then they were charming... but very rustic.
