Wow! What a wonderful experience at The Tack Shop! We drove over from outside of Asheville, NC to get outfitted for my first horse back riding lesson. Glyn and Dakota were both wonderful to work with. Glyn was very diligent with fitting me with my helmet and going over all the safety criteria. I was also fitted for riding boots and breeches, among a host of other great accessories needed like belts, socks, and gloves. We are so glad we made the drive over and found Glyn's shop. We learned that it was a family business that her mother started in the 60's. Glyn made the experience feel very special and exciting, and the store was warm, inviting, and fully stocked out with all kinds of gear, and the sweetest old shop dog, Lexi. In the age of ordering online, we highly recommend getting out of your house, and heading over to The Tack Shop. It was a real delight with impeccable, personalized service :-) Thanks Glyn and Dakota!

We do not offer repairs at this time, but in Tryon NC there is a repair shop called Sandhurst Leatherworks. Also possible that a shoe repair shop can help you. Locally there is West Lee Shoe Shop in Taylors and Cobblers Corner in Simpsonville. Best wishes!
