My review must have been deleted. Website says if it collects dirt and is less than 100 years old, they can fix it. Dropped off our vacuum and was charged $20 to be told that they can't get parts. No info on which part was needed or any diagnostics done. Will not be using them for anything. $20 for a lesson learned.Many times, Chinese model vacuums are not worth repairing because either parts are unavailable or the cost exceeds the value of the machine. The $20 you paid was to diagnose your vacuum- I’m sure you do not work for free either. What you may not have realized is that $20 is now a store credit. We welcome you to return sometime and use that credit or purchase a quality vacuum that you will not have to bring for repair. We certainly hope that you’ll give us another chance- we are the largest, oldest, and best small appliance repair company in the state and would hate for you not to shop with us!

I took my wife’s Bernina sewing machine in for service. Got it home and it wouldn’t sew correctly. I called them and was told, “It was working when it left here. I’m busy. I don’t have time for this.” We will never use Vacuums Etc. again. They were rude and don’t stand behind their work. I don’t recommend them. Part 2: My wife was so angry about this she took the sewing machine to another service shop in West Columbia today. We will not be coming back to Vacuums Etc.

After my lamp started smoking, I took it to Vacuums Etc. on Garners Ferry -- they had it repaired and ready to pick up within 1 day! Great service, reasonable price, and nice people.
