Been a fan from day one. The brewers are meticulous in their craft. They are friendly and make everyone feel welcome. But most importantly their beer tastes like beer and they have consistency. I'm a craft beer guy and my biggest knock on most of the breweries here is lack of consistency. If you want beer that tastes true to style, look no further.

Angry Fish Brewing Co., 106 Fabrister Lane - it is back in Lexington Office Park which looks more like storage buildings but it is a great place! Unique and fun with a great vibe and great prices. They brew their own stuff on site (except they do offer a little wine as well), and have local and nautical names. Fun! Julie recommends the Moonlit Nights Black IPA and Gilbert Peach American Wheat. I recommend the Bomb Island Imperial Stout and the Sunrise Raspberry American Wheat. You can get flights here but of course you are paying a little more per in order to be able to have the variety. Overall the pints are the best price around. The venue spills outside when they have a food truck. They also have live music regularly. Follow their social media to see what they have going on. They have their own food truck as well on W, F, & S evenings but their cook is out sick right now. We were there Saturday too early for the live music but went back Sunday afternoon for the music (Water Kickers) and Cousins Maine Lobster Food Truck. Just know if they are brewing while you are there r can get a little warm inside. They do have some fans so that helps but it still isn’t terribly comfortable in that regard. We will definitely be back! #localbrew #brewpub #livemusic #foodtruck #lexingtonsc

I've been meaning to check out Angry Fish for a long time, but never had a chance until recently. I met my brother and one of his friends there, and I was really impressed by it. The site itself makes it a bit of a hole in the wall, but I tend to like those and they've done a lot in a small space. The bar itself has a nice feel, small but intimate, a little quirky (fishing skeleton, I'm looking at you), and you can see the fermenters to the right. There's a food trailer out front (sadly closed while I was there on a Sunday) and a couple of picnic tables. It looks like other food trucks are around when Angry Eats isn't open. Of course, talking about a brewery, you have to address the beer, and that's where Angry Fish shines. I tried a good many (they're available in 2.5 ounce "flight" size, so you can afford to have a few), and there literally wasn't a bad beer on tap. The Bomb Island Imperial Stout and Top Sail Lulo Fruit Sour were both standouts, and their Black Water Blackberry Berliner Weiss and Wyse's Ferry Kolsch provided some refreshing easy drinking. The IPA's were solid too...like I said, not a bad beer on tap. The bartender was personable and the service very good. It was just a great place to have a few, relax and catch up with some people I hadn't seen in forever. I really can't recommend the place enough. I look forward to going back.

Cool brewery. Can see all the brewing occurring and barrels aging.
