Was very pleased with the course and greens. Staff was great at check in. The par 5's are really a place to make a few shots up because when you get to the SHORT.... 205 Par 3 you may just need an extra shot. That hole can destroy a round if you not careful. Will be back to give it another shot.

Got to play the front nine while doing a quick stop over in the area on the way to a longer trip. The staff were nice to help accommodate me as a random pass thru visitor. The course layout is a good mix of narrow and wide open. The greens and course is in very good condition. Good mix of challenging and forgiving. Some holes can blast away, some have to place to get the risk reward. Pro shop and snack area good too. If I find my way to Santee again, I will definitely play this course again.

There are several in Santee. I-95 exit 98.
Pretty sure during the hot months it isn't a problem if it is water in the cooler. They expect alcohol to be purchased at their bar , they offer coolers with beverage purchase
If you use Supremegolf or Golfnow you can find hot deals for around $20, it's very worth it

I think yes and no.
We played there in April during the wet season, and the course was busy and playable. They operate Smart carts, and they shut down if you drive them too close to water, greens or tee boxes, or any where they don't want you to go.
