This office is a joke. We suffer because they are understaffed. The least they could do is have staff that are kind or helpful. My public defender is never there yet they tell me "he will get in touch with me when he has time". Then you never hear from them. The paralegals are terrible as well. How can you have adequate representation when you never have contact with your public defender? So frustrating and such a joke.

Very rude receptionist If she doesn’t like her job she needs to MoveOn, keep leaving messages for My sons public defender and they never returned your phone calls. I know they can be busy have an overload But they can at least return the call within the week

My son locked up in Lexington county on bench warrant but he was in jail when they served the bench warrant I did everything I could to get the bench warrant lifted what’s my next step

Get a copy of the intake form from the county jail,or arrest warrant. Go to the solicitor office and take proof your son wad in jail. Then wait for general session court to start and once he see a judge he will be release.
