Very Well manicured and Beautiful park with lots of sidewalks to walk. Highly recommend visiting and catching a breath of fresh air while enjoying the plenty of activities there are to do there.

Started bringing my boys here alot more But during ball games it be nice if parents not allow their kids to be throwing there baseballs over cars and even while a car is driving by. I know its them just practicing but there is a field Not near cars to bust windows and windshields. But other than that. Its a huge park and lots of play areas And plenty of benches to sit while you watch your kids play.

They do have open grills, next to each shelter near the playground. The one near the largest shelter is double sized, probably at least 30" wide. Enough to accommodate cooking for quite a crowd!

I've been to parties here before. I don't think you have to ask permission. There are small sitting areas outside near the swings. It seems to be a first come type deal. As long as you keep it respectful there should be no problem. I'm not completely sure about this but that's what it looks like to me. Also they have space inside from what I understand but I'm sure you would have to contact someone about those.
You can walk the fitness trail before the park opens. You can actually walk anytime you feel like it. The park never closes.
Areas outside of park is free but there is a fee for entry into splash in the boro.
As far as I know anyone can use the grills for free, but all the swimming is a part of splash in the boro
This is a public park owned and operated by Statesboro/Bulloch County parks and recreation. They are open each day year round, except the water park
