****Update The move out process is a mess. The front office staff is not knowledgeable in move out procedures. Had to call corporate just to get the steps for moving out! No one in the Murray office could give me a step by step of Greystars move out procedure. The form they want you to fill about where you are going next is invasive. Ask questions like the square feet of your new space, the bedrooms, questions that frankly are none of Greystars business. The new manager tried to get us to sign a sheet of paper before he filled it out on his end. No deposit back not surprising since it was only $300. We lived here for 9 months it constantly smelled of weed, paper thin walls, sloppy leasing staff. The only positive was the maintenance guy Tim! Quickly completed requests and was ALWAYS professional! Stay away especially if you have children AWFUL experience so far! Poor leasing staff one in particular needs some serious retraining totally incompetent! Absolutely sloppy construction….Paint residue/ dust left all over unit, construction trash shoved behind oven could easily have been Shopvac'ed ..Something is always broken the front door lock didn’t work for the longest, the elevator went out in both buildings. Blood, coffee on hall and elevator floor. Trash, nails left outside of building. Water is never hot. The building is built paper thin we can hear every movement our neighbor above us makes from their foot steps to their tv/ music.. Not kid friendly at all 20 minutes after moving in our apartment (4:30pm) our downstairs neighbor was already banging on our door complaining she could hear us above her. I offered to move to a lower unit to fix the problem but was denied my request by leasing staff. So then we continued to be subjected to harassment by our downstairs neighbor who finally moved to another building… And the smell of weed that radiates through our air vents every night is the WORST!!!!

My spouse and I moved onto the property close to a month now.The office staff we dealt with during the leasing process were more than accommodating.The properties exteriors and grounds are well maintained.Everything seems great at first.Our unit is on the first floor and we immediately notice we could hear all activity outside our unit, adjoining units, activity in the hallways leading to units and stomping coming from a unit as high up as the unit on the third floor above us.The units are not the best craftsmanship as well.When first viewing the property it is a lot of smoke and mirrors. Everything is great and questions and concerns are quickly answered with the responses any potential new resident wants to hear.This property is pet friendly which is great if you own a pet.We are non pet owners.We are experiencing issues with some pet owners allowing their pets to urinate etc directly in front and near our unit patio area which we witness pets urinating, etc in other areas as well in landscaping etc throughout the property and few pet owners actually pick up after their pets.Having only dealt with only a few of the office staff members, some are more courteous than others.The once accommodating staff members are not so accommodating any longer.Everything was great until it is apparent this property is not so great after all.We had high expectations when we decided to lease an apartment on this property and it is a disappointment.This is our honest opinion in regards to our experience residing on this property.We would not recommend this property unfortunately.We do leave two stars for the maintenance guys and especially the groundskeeper who keep the property looking great.

Beautiful apartments and amenities

I give Murray Apartments a 5 star rating. It is a new apartment complex with more amenities than other apartments in the local area. The leasing and maintenance team is supper! They go out of their way to ensure that everything is first rate. Example, I work out in the onsite fitness center each day. The team goes through the facility each day early in the morning and cleans the windows, wipes down the equipment, checks the TV's, and ensures the rest rooms are clean. They have a great pool area that my wife loves to spend time at. If you want to grill, they have a great grill area just off the pool area. As for the apartment, it is new! The kitchen area has granite countertops, an island and lots of cabinet storage. The gathering room, bath room and closest are a nice size. The extra large shower is great for watching down dogs. When looking for an apartment, most of the other apartments in the local area don't measure up to the Murray.
