Horrible customer service!!! Everyone says something different, it’s like no one was trained properly and I got no where!!! Just to be out around in circles!! The top it off it takes weeks months s for a reply in mail. They never returned any of my calls

We have been waiting in line for over an hour in 90 degree heat. As a nurse and watching these elderly people stand out here with no place to sit where they have you standing is a safety concern. I honestly believe they are waiting on someone to die before anything is going to be done about it. If you call the 1 800 Number, it’s tells you that you don’t need an appointment but get here and wait in line. I can’t imagine what will happen when it starts getting cold. I am so tired of people using Covid as an excuse when I have been working nonstop as a nurse since this thing started. Something is truly wrong with this system.

Best to call and make an appointment security won't let you through unless you're on the list.
Yes, the fastest way is to print the application off the website, then get a certified copy of your DL for identification proof and you still have to call and make an appointment to be on the list at the front door. Then you'll go up and drop the envelope in the drop box. They said 10-15 days but the security guard said its usually much faster. If you use the other proofs of identification you have to mail your original copies of things and we didn't want to do that for my son.
Can I do a walk in to get my social security card
My son went there yesterday. He was told they are still closed for Covid, you can order SS cards on line.
They have very few people there still. I would try to call first or you can ask one of the guards at the door but I've only seen a handful of oeople.
I believe you still can make appts online to make your visit there shorter, however as the below fella said,as of our postings, it's walk in open..
