They have a job opening for a janitor in which they state you MUST be a "good christian" to be considered. That's literally religious discrimination. I have half the mind to fake it and go in acting possessed just to give this Bible humpers a scare.

OLG surpasses other Catholic Churches in the Charlotte metro area. Having been a parishioner since Nov 2020, I go out of my way to attend Mass here bc Fr. Kirby’s homilies are food for the soul. I live a short distance to another Catholic church but find myself at OLG at least once a week, more if my schedule permits. Fr. Kirby and his staff are super dedicated people and the love they have for OLG permeates through their pores... and it shows! Thank you Fr. Kirby.

What a pleasant surprise to find Our Lady of Grace parish several years ago! And Fr. Jeff Kirby! Here was a young priest who had a passion for saving his parishioners’ souls! He was not selling the Catholic “Church of Nice” that too many priests have pushed since the 70s where everyone’s going to heaven because, well, God loves everybody, so I’m ok, you’re ok, just be nice. Fr. Kirby has emphasized reverence for the Mass as a re-presentation of Christ’s sacrifice on Calvary and encourages frequent confession, making himself available for confession often hours at a time. He’s inspired over 450 people to sign up for Eucharistic Adoration! Where do you find that at other parishes? Or hundreds of people joining him at prayer rallies in front of the Charlotte abortion clinic? Who spends homilies like he does teaching about the faith? Had just 25 percent of the Church’s priests been of the caliber of Fr. Kirby in the last 50 years, it wouldn’t be in the sorry shape it - and Society - is in today. OLOG is not, however, for everyone. People have complained that he “yells”. (Such folks make me think they must’ve been children who got trophies just for showing up.) Yes, Fr. K gets passionate sometimes - and how refreshing that passion is vs.the nice and calm blather of too many homilists. OLOG not for those who are “lukewarm, neither cold nor hot” about their faith. (See Revelation 3:16 for what Jesus says of such people.) If you want a parish that stands up for Truth and the way to eternal life, you’ll find a home at Our Lady of Grace in Lancaster SC.

We changed parishes in February, 2022. We now travel 3x the distance to attend mass and receive the sacraments... and are so glad we made the decision. Our previous parish was too Protestant. Our Lady of Grace Pastor, Father Kirby, is the good shepherd we had been missing for years. His homilies are the Truth, Christ's truth. No fluff, no cotton candy sermons. This is a gem of a parish and we are happy to say that our spiritual needs are, indeed, being met.

Both options are available in one confessional next to the cry room.
Sunday morning 11a pretty full, but seats available. That's only time have attended so far. Father Kirby is impressive.
Yes, many Popes have consecrated Russia to Our Lady, as she had asked the Church to do so from her visits at Fatima.
Not this year. Doing soup on Fridays at 6, following the Stations. St. Philip Neri used to do them. You may want to check.
Lorenza forgot to add evening Mass times for Ash Wednesday: 5:30 pm and 7 pm. Many of us still work and thus cannot attend weekday morning Mass times.
