Heavy duty Reviews
It was very quick. Back in South Carolina the line was all the way out the door and down the street so it literally took all day and that's if you were standing in line before the doors opened. Here it took maybe 30 minutes! Excellent staff service!

Some of the staff are nice and all, most will work harder to try and get out of doing their job. There is a reason people always tell me it’s worth driving to charleston to go to the DMV than trying to do anything in Beckley. They are correct

Be prepared to sit there for hours. We sat there for 3 hours to get my husband's handicap placard renewed. They need to get a better system set up.

Very efficient process with an appointment.

Get a handicapped parking application from the DMV office or online. Complete and sign the form. Ask your health-care provider to fill out and sign the portion that certifies disability. Submit the application by mail or in person.
Just make a appointment is the best way to do it
No
I heard they’re taking walk ins but I’m not sure
Mine was $15
Two proofs of address, only certain things will work. A birth certificate... But this might have changed with the new laws. I'd call and ask to be sure.
I'm not sure but you may be able to get a duplicate title...The DMV is definitely the right place to get those answers...You can call and ask, make an appointment or just show up...although an appointment may be quicker...I hope this helps.
You just can't go past the white line. That's what they watch for..my daughter took it not long ago and the instructor told her to pull up past it cause the instructor could not see for oncoming traffic. So best thing is to not go past it and if your not able to see from where your at, let your instructor know so they give you permission to pull up more. Hope this helps!
yes they do as long as it's in your name or person whose name is with you
its not to strict.. i would say on scale from 1-10... about a 7...
that is a Great big "No".. for example i been living in Wva for 15yrs...i moved from Ohio..i just went to get my license renewed and they told me i had a fine in Ohio that needed to be paid before i could get my license in Wva renewed... the system runs nationwide.."We can't outrun the long arm of the law"
Yes
Absolutely. And it's the greatest thing ever. No lines. No creepy dude sitting next to you smelling all weird.
They are taking stand by sign ins without an appointment. Go to the front door and you'll be put on a wait list and asked to sit in your car. They'll call you when there's an open window. I didn't have to wait long at all on 12/23.
I’m from West Virginia and we’re supposed to be taking our learners together
U can walk in , and get on list. Can renew cdls if no changes.
They will accept walkins if you don't make one. And it's fast service. I've been there twice. They just ask you if you got an appointment and tell then no. I want aware. There very understanding and put you in line to go in. Being a mask though
No they take walk-ins but it's best to get there early when they open because they take appointments first
Take it to DMV Office.
Get a appointment online
If you are a veteran and want veteran added to you're licenses you will need you're dd214 the VA id card is not sufficient
No they reopen on tuesday
I'm not exactly sure about cdl's. For a reg licencense you need. Birth certificate, ss card. Proof of any name changelike marruage and duvorce certificates. Two proofs of residency as well. They only take current bills as proof. Such as power and cable. Hope this helps.
Paper from your parents does not have to be notorized. Its on the back of the drivers license application.
I think its less then 13 dollers i believe
Yes, any DMV location in state will work
30 days
I'm not sure but I believe you can just go under the dmv.gov.com they offer everything else I wouldn't know y you couldn't be able to get a copy of your driving record
For a title? Yes but it's not instant, it takes an hour or 3.
You will need social security card and birth certificate. You will also need 2 proofs of address. These can be vehicle registration, insurance cards, voter ID card, utilities bill or you can have Raleigh County EOC ( 911 call center ) fax over a proof of residency. Be nice and be prepared to have to leave and come back with more info.
Fines have to be paid in full plus court cost! I just paid 3600 to get mine back...goodluck
You have until the dmv closes on your birthday
I am going to say 95 percent no. Only because they are a government entity and this is beckley w.v. where the McDonalds closes for weather lol
Just go to the dmv and they will get you taken care of
Tags expire on 1st day of month on tag ( 3xx xxx would be March 1st )
It is 35 dollars i believe
All he needs is someone with a water bill and power bill and a parent
I believe it's just like the car test 9am till 330 or so
For renewing your licence plates you will need proof of last year's paid taxes and either your renewal card or vehicle registration card. You might also need a snack and something to drink, cause you're gonna be there awhile PS you get taxes done at the old Beckley courthouse, in the sheriff's tax dept.
Don't know, you'll have to call them.
If it's just an I d card you need to take all the needed work as if to get a new one if it's expired.
If you're under 18, six months and complete the required hours. Over 18, I believe you can take it as early as a week later.
You have to re-register your car. There's a form online you can pre-fill out. Should be a form 44. You'll have to show proof of taxes paid as well.
You have to be on or inside the white line, it’s easy. Most of them will actually guide you through it
The person buying will take the title after you've signed it over to them. After they fill everything out at the DMV, they'll send the new owner a title with their name.
