Metal cased ammo is allowed. Ammo with a metal core is not allowed. Much surplus Eastern Block countries have a metal core in the center of the bullet. Not all. Cut one in half and you will know for sure. This information is subject to change and these were the rules that were enforced the last time I was there. Steel/metal core ammo is more prone to ricochet out of the bounds of the range and possibly cause injury or property damage,
