Waited till the morning to put out cans because of high winds. Trash guy showed up super early and missed us. Called customer service and they said nothing could be done about it. Service was much better until Republic took over.

They missed our trash pick up 3 times in 8 weeks. I call Wednesday after the third miss and was told our trash would be pcked up Friday. Today is Saturday...... still no pick up. Really poor pick up service and customer service does not exist when you call.

For years our trash bill was paid with our water bill. Recently this changed. And republic billed me quarterly. I received a bill that was due June 4, 2022. Today is May 20, 2022. Well before the due date. This morning my trashcan was taken. I was told that my bill was over 60 days past due and that I would be required to pay a reinstatement fee and then i was transferred to another department. I told them id like a monthly bill and one rep said i could do that then another said no dice. I was continuously transferred around and around and here it is 4pm on a Friday and I am still without any solid resolution. I thought well ill just go onto their website and request a new garbage can and see if their website is any better then an actual person. After filling the information in. The price given me was $65 a month. When before id been paying $30 a month. So Now im looking at this new monthly charge, Which requires an ascending 2 year contract and im thinking did they do this so i would be required to pay more than 100 percent increase in price? I go to look for another trash pickup company. There are none. Ill keep looking Because I will not be paying $65 a month for trash. Be warned and Be aware of the monopoly this trash company is and the underhanded ways customers are being targeted.
