We drove up for the onion festival and air show from Augusta, an hour and a half away only to sit in traffic for 3 hours and 15 minutes, you would think that the planners for this event would have a knowledge of how the traffic patterns would be for such a large event, however, this was an epic fail on their part, there was no police directing traffic at the main event parking entrance which caused this long wait, we literally sat in traffic for 2 and a half of the hours to go maybe 2 miles, if your going to host an event like this, then plan better, your offering a service that we pay for, then deliver! We got there just in time to see the blue angels, but that was it, we missed everything else that we paid for. Thanks for a horrible event Vidalia Tourism!
