I am handicapped, was there 16 days and my bed was fine. On the 17th day, Bryant decided my bed was unacceptable and I was discharged. It is all I can do to get up on my feet let alone make a bed. They care more about tidy beds than they do about a toxic environment of profanity. Their priorities are messed up. The majority of the staff is great, but Bryant is inhumane and should be terminated.

Ask questions if you call, force them to answer your questions before the call ends because if not they will leave out a lot of important info. I needed help with shelter for myself and my children, been living in my car and unable to work. I CALLED this place first to ask about space. All the man said was “first come first serve.” Instead of telling me “ma’am we’re at capacity for the day, try again tomorrow or in 2 days.” I wasted the last bit of gas I had to get to the shelter just to be told with attitude that they don’t have any family rooms left. That would have been some real golden info to tell me via phone so I wouldn’t have wasted time or gas. These shelters really enjoy playing games with folks livelihoods and im about to start making a lot of noise about it cause it’s beyond disgusting.

Every applicant will need to have a recent negative Covid-19 test in order to find shelter here. It is on two bus lines, the 40 route and the 45 route. Housing is a dorm type setup. There are nightly breathalyzer tests in order to remain in the program. Residents have breakfast and then must leave to go to work or find work. Residents are given a sack lunch when they leave after breakfast. They can return at 3pm. Dinner is provided by a local church or organization each night. Clothing and essentials are provided as well.
Contact Stonebridge on Marietta square. Ask for Ligon.
You can take it there or to One of their drop off locations. One in a different location in Marietta or in canton. The Elizabeth inn is a shelter. Probably not many babies.
Non-profit organizations are often or always understaffed and overwhelmed with the public's demand for their services. Therefore, the best option is to always view walk-in hours on the website and then visit such organizations personally and then ask all of your questions. I'm sending you my best wishes, though!🙏
Yes they take in families and help out a whole lot if you are willing to do the works,of bettering your situation.
He would need to talk to intake at 10:00am but for men or women the best time to be there is between 9-9:30 am you need to be the 1st person there first come first served that's how it is.
I believe they would take anything for kids and needy families especially for the holidays just call them
Unfortunately they do not unless they recently changed policy, Yet I find if you get in good with certain staff members they might reveal the wifi password.
No, you just need to be standing at the office door when they open it at 10am. It's first come, first serve. I was first in line on a Monday morning and got in that day. I got the about 9:30.
They are. Intake begins @10am. There is a line ready for check in if any availability by 8⁰⁰am. Have ID. No food or drinks, no weapons aloud. Breakfast at 9am-10am. Lunch 12pm-1pm. Dinner 6:30pm.
No childcare but they'll refer you to a childcare center nearby and it'll be free the time you're in the shelter
I do know you'll have access to a phone, so at the very least you'll be able to try and contact them yourself
No we don't
Single men, single women, and families. Limited space. Took me three days to get in.
Intakes are from 10am to 2pm Monday-Friday. Unfortunately intake office is closed on weekends , If you contact Ravonda intake specialist she will definitely work with you!!
They are always looking for volunteers however since various churches bring the meals and serve them you will have to call and ask
Hello. Not sure what kind of help you need. Intake for resources starts at 10am. if you get there anytime between 9am-2pm. You can also get breakfast (9-10am)& lunch (12pm-1pm). They'll be able get help or guide you to the right resources. Earlier the better. So get there as soon as you can. Hope this helps.
I'm not sure I just volunteered there sometimes
You get a covid test /go talk to the staff at building 5 if they have room they will let you in bring ID and SS card
You have to apply at intake in the morning 10 am. Doesn't hurt to be there earlier.
If they are service dogs and you provide the documentation, it may be an exception. Idk for sure though.
Mon-Fri 10 am -1pm
If the temperature is going to be below 35 it should be open. 8pm is when they start taking people.
Report to the ministries as soon as possible. There's a salvation army in macon as well. Tell her to bring soap and toiletries.
Be careful covid 19 is every where in shelters
It's been years but I think 8 or 9. That's also a curfew for the folks already there.
Do you have a picture on the arrest records. They should accept that record
They will accept that and also they would help you get a ID
They dont have wifi, but they have a phone you can use to call
Only about 30 days. Can ask or be eligible for extension. Only if housing is in place at time of asking. Depends.
No
is worth the time to go and discuss your situation. M.M is a GREAT place and service to our community.
Yes it can be if you're not mobile. I got lucky and got in on my 3rd day/try. Basically you have too "be there" at a certain time, stand in line, and HOPE a bed is available. When I was there Oct 2016, they'll say it's a 42 day stay, then with little effort, they won't tell you but you can get extra 2 weeks, 56 days. Extenuating circumstances like illnesses, etc it's how serious and who you talk too but there is some leniency beyond that. After 56 days I just left, gotta lot of pride, and got a hotel room that requires weekly payment. Good luck
Yes with Marta cards
You would have to come in Monday..from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. ..its on a first come first served basis.
They have very strict guidelines on who they take in. Someone is there all the time so go when you can. I'm sure the people who work there can either help you or direct you to some place that can.
Try the center for family services
Please call them directly. This isn't the right place for those questions.
