This is an old favorite spot I used to enjoy with my late husband. Took my girls for the holiday. Our waiter was great. The food was great. I'm so glad it is still special to me.

My husband and I have been coming here often since 2018 when we got married. We had our honeymoon here. Despite winning money and having a great time in the past, my recent experience prompted my review. I made a same day reservation and hours later found out a family member was very ill. I called and spoke to someone named glen who would not offer a cancellation refund. I spoke to a manager named glen as well. He offered a $75 refund. I was not allowed to change the date, receive a refund, or any other option. I had to give my room to someone else. Glen said they are full and keep turning people away. Had that been true surely he would probably be more inept to giving me a refund and give the room to another customer. That did not happen. I am disappointed in the lack of empathy and customer service I received and the inability by the two Glenn's I spoke with to help me fix a situation in which I had no control over. I know there are guidelines and policies but there was an extreme lack of empathy to our imminent health situation. This is not a "review" directed towards the other great staff who often go over looked (bartenders, servers, cashiers, hotel staff) who have always gone above and beyond in our experiences and deserve the upmost respect and appreciation. Went on a girls spa trip. The spa is relaxing although I wish there were more services but staff was very polite. The hotel itself was going thru construction so parking was limited. We did valet. The hotel room was ok, it had that beach water type smell,which turned me off.

The location is key to this place! The parking is very limited, the drinks and food were a bit overpriced. However, the quality of the food and drinks were very good. We enjoyed listening to live music on the beach. What a great place that is only 40 miles from DC!!
