Cozy and casual interior along with bar seating. Service was friendly and attentive. Quite a few regulars stopped-by during my stay but most were to-go. The rest of the dishes must be good as well. My dishes were typical of a good sushi restaurant with fresh sashimi and veggies. The shrimp shumai was steamy and savory. Can't go wrong with Sapporo either. They did top other Japanese restaurants with several options of Japanese beer where others only have a couple. So, I would definitely be a regular if I lived nearby.

Sushiya in Dallas was delicious! We are in town from Chicago and St. John Indiana for the Tom Ferry Success Summit and decided to try some local restaurants within walking distance of our hotel, The Omni. The service was good, the food was delicious and the price was right. The menu is slightly limited compared to what I am used to but the quality was up to par and they did not disappoint. If you are in or around Dallas and in the mood for Sushi I would give Sushiya a try.

I don't like sushi but they had a great menu with awesome alternatives. Everyone else in our group ordered sushi and was super pleased. Service and pricing was amazing.

Fantastic sushi, amazing miso, great staff, awesome experience. This is definitely a restaurant that you'll want to check out if you have the chance, you won't be disappointed. Very reasonable prices, too. Overall, worthy of the 5 star rating.

Very clean and masks are worn at all times
They serve alcohol, so probably 18.
Uber would be best. There is a pay to park on Akard Street. It isn't too bad of a walk, but the lot is often full.
