They have to follow State child labor laws... But since it's offically summer( ie. Past June 1st ) you can work at 14yrs old actually 8hrs a day between 7am and 9pm not more than 40hrs a week? And yes they are short staffed in my opinion! Get written parent approval 2 weeks before you start to be safe! GoodLuck
