Molly Shafer is by far the worse counselor I have ever dealt with. She became hostile, would not listen to my concerns about my child, interrogated me, and I am there trying to inquire about what is going on with my child.I am not the one coming for counseling , why are you interrogating me. She was NOT open minded with my concerns and my child’s history growing up. Molly’s opinions were solely based on one parents opinions on the child’s history. Why wouldn’t a counselor want both of the child’s parents knowledge of there backgrounds of how the child grew up, involvement and basically there life history. I have talked with other counselors and they have all encouraged the counselors involve both parents. So what’s the problem here, she already had her opinion of the other parent before doing all her homework correctly! Poor service on her part and very judgmental. Be aware she has left this practice, imagine that, and is practicing at RDT Counseling in Lynchburg. So that should tell you something, she is bouncing around to different practices. I do NOT recommend her counseling services! I have already told fellow Lynchburg friends, co-workers, family members and for them to let others know to avoid her services!!! Beyond awful!!! BIG HUGE disappointment!!!
